Natural (unstained) black oak coffee table 2'x4', 16" tall
This table was built as an entry for the 2004 Trinity County Fair. It expresses the theme of "Trinity County
Country Bounty" and won the "Best of Show" award. It depicts a rainbow trout in the rocks and is made from five different
woods native to Trinity County: black oak, madrone, pine, fir and chinquapin. The bulk of the table is black oak with specimens
of chinquapin, madrone, pine and fir alternating on the table's surface around the fish image.

Pictures of four of the trees whose woods are used in the table are depicted in woodburnings on each
of the table's legs.
